Load Director
Load Generator modules are ultra
efficient in that they can create more than 1000 users from a single PC,
depending on the active workload. But when you need to create large workloads
spanning tens of thousands of users, you would use LoadDirector to aggregate
the management, control and reporting of the test.
LoadDirector implements a ultra-thin communication mechanism to control
LoadModules (each LoadModule being mapped to a unique Workload Generator).
With this mechanism, you can simulate a very large user load with just
a rack of PCs.
