NetCorder Fact Sheet

NetCorder is a Recording Paradigm to capture the anatomy of requests between applications communicating over a network using the TCP/IP protocol.

NetCorder can be configured such that it matches the scope of events you want to capture. To facilitate this, NetCorder listens to requests on the Client side or the Server side.

When listening on the client end, the extent of the captured traffic is typically limited to traffic generated from this client. It can capture requests from multiple applications and multiple sockets used on this client.
When listening on the Server side, NetCorder can capture all traffic destined to the server from any number of clients.
You could also selectively choose to record requests from a set of users, and NetCorder can be configured to implement this directive as well.

NetCorder captures all transaction information into files that can be edited and manipulated. NetCorder and Technovations MailSizr are a powerful combination which allow you to engineer applications which are extremely robust. And at a fraction of the time taken by conventional methods or by using other tools.

NetCorder also can Capture/Shut-off of User Think (Pause) times, which are an important part of workload definition.

Platforms Supported:
NetCorder is implemented completely in Java(tm), which by definition is portable on all platforms that have JDK support. NetCorder can run with any version of the Java JDK 1.0.2 and higher.
