GroupSizr comes with some sample scripts. While these are not extensive, they will give you a good idea of the fundamental capabilities of GroupSizr. In the future, we plan to release a set of script files as a separate kit to help people adapt these kitted scripts to their test cases.

GS-EVAL.SCR - This script is used to generate a user load using simple database commands.

MULTIUSR.SCR - This test also shows the use of "simple" scripting commands to develop a powerful user simulation script. This can be run with as many as 500 to 1500 users.

We have also put together an ensemble of scripts which use simple GroupSizr scripting verbs but which help to test different parts of a Notes system.

CPU.SCR - Stresses the CPU on the server

DISK.SCR - Stresses the DISK and RAID systems on the server

MEM.SCR - Stresses the memory and paging capabilities of your server

NET.SCR - Puts load on the Network

CACHE.SCR - Exercises the cache on the server.

CONTR.SCR - Stresses any IO controllers/disk controllers on your system by doing IO intensive commands.

Note that you can simulate very intricate and complex requests to your Notes server using the intermediate and advanced command verbs. Look for updates on our scripts page for examples of such scripts. You can also simulate transactions to clustered elements using our intermediate and advanced commands. Examples of these are also planned.
